Pre-Cruise Stay in Galveston

We are staying at Marriott's SpringHill Suites in Galveston just a few miles away from the seawall and it is amazing! We got here yesterday afternoon and were upgraded to a balcony, which was much appreciated. From the windows I can see the calm water of the Gulf and it is so peaceful. We are in a room on the second floor and it is clean and spacious and more than enough for my family to spend a night. There is a pool, however we did not use it as we were all tired from our travel day.

So for anyone staying in the Galveston area for an upcoming cruise, I give this hotel an 8 out of 10.

We are so excited to be cruising on the Carnival Vista this week with a few friends and can't wait to see what the ship has in store for us!
